This blog was launched on January 19, 2025. It’s built with the Hugo framework and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Prior to this, I had tried setting up a personal blog using Hexo and GitHub Pages under a different GitHub account. However, due to infrequent updates, that version was eventually abandoned.
The content here is mainly divided into four sections: industry trends, personal thoughts, tech insights, and learning journals. Among them, the “Robotics Industry Trends” section is something I aim to update weekly. If there’s a topic you’re interested in, feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of any post — I appreciate your support and feedback!
The motivation behind creating this blog is much like that of many individual developers — to have a personal space for recording learning experiences and sharing thoughts and reflections. (Of course, this kind of practice may be relatively uncommon for those outside the software development world.) I’ve come across some truly outstanding blogs, such as Tech Weekly by Yifeng Ruan, which is updated every Friday, and Fang’s Mystery Blog, a long-running blog by the legendary Peking University figure Fang Wu, where he’s been sharing his reflections on detective fiction for decades. Their passion for writing has deeply inspired me. I hope that, like these exceptional developers and enthusiasts, I can continue creating content, gradually shaping a voice and style of my own.
To mark the start of this new journey, here’s a lighthearted senryu:
月下に
ゲッコー(Gecko)初コミット
結構エエやん!
Romanization:
Gekka ni
Gekkō (gecko) hatsu komitto
Kekkō ee yan !
English Translation:
Moonlight softly falls
Gecko makes his first commit
Not bad at all, huh!
